Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Co-Founder who will focus on Marketing and Sales, driving user acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion. This individual will bring entrepreneurial experience, a solid understanding of SaaS and software, and a proven commercial track record to our team. You’ll be joining an experienced founding team where Tech and Product are fully handled, with the added advantage of our founding team’s strong AI background and initial AI features already deployed. You’ll have resources for content, marketing, and design support at your disposal. Your main focus: Sales, Marketing, Growth.

About Tooling Studio

Tooling Studio builds powerful, integrated tools for Google Workspace, reducing tool overload and enhancing productivity for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Our flagship product, Kanban Tasks, launched in September 2024, offers a native Kanban experience within Google Workspace, and our upcoming CRM tool (launching January 2025) will further expand our suite. With over 500+ active users and growing, we already have some ARR coming in and are positioned to scale. Our tools are fully integrated—data syncs seamlessly from Google’s apps and between our products, ensuring a cohesive user experience. We need a strong commercial co-founder to take our growth to the next level.

Tooling Studio is part of Addon Ventures, a venture studio with a team of 150 people. You will work alongside Eric de Zeeuw as a co-founder, who’s responsible for product and tech.

Your Role as Co-Founder

As our Commercial Co-Founder, you’ll lead the charge on Sales, Marketing, and Growth—taking Tooling Studio from early success to sustainable scale. This is a pivotal role for someone with a proven track record of driving SaaS growth and entrepreneurial success.

Entrepreneurial and Growth Expertise

You’ve founded, scaled, or held senior commercial roles (e.g., Head of Growth, CMO) for SaaS companies, successfully driving user acquisition and revenue.

Own Growth Strategy

Take full ownership of sales and marketing initiatives, from user acquisition and retention to upselling our integrated tools. You’ll focus on expanding our 500+ active users and launching the CRM tool successfully in January 2025.

From Testing to Scaling

In the early stages, you’ll roll up your sleeves—testing growth campaigns, refining messaging, and iterating rapidly. Once key channels are validated, you’ll scale strategies using the team’s design and content support.

Build Revenue and Momentum

Leverage our current traction and ARR to identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling as we expand our tool suite.

Shape the Commercial Vision

Refine positioning, pricing, and value propositions to align with SMB workflows and ensure strong market resonance.

Collaborate with Tech and Product

Partner with our experienced Product and Tech teams to ensure commercial goals are aligned with product development and user needs.

This is your opportunity to bring entrepreneurial energy, SaaS expertise, and strategic leadership to build the growth engine of a fast-moving, high-potential SaaS startup.
